Frances B. Dillon.(Local) - The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA)

NORFOLK -- NORFOLK - Frances B. Dillon, 88, of the 1200 block of Oak Park Ave., passed away Dec. 21, 2007, in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. A native of Huntington, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George and Dora Butcher and the widow of James Louis Dillon. She retired as a public health nurse with the Norfolk Health Department. She was a member of Norview Baptist Church, was president of the Bayview Senior Citizens Club and belonged to the Norview Five Pointers Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by Stephanie Dillon Brouns and Marcel Brouns, Cindy Dillon-Lancke and William Lancke, James Michael Dillon and Sandy Dillon and two grandchildren, James Michael Dillon Jr. and Janine Lancke, all of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. The burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Norview Baptist Church Food Pantry or the local Salvation Army. A reception will be held at the Airport Hilton immediately following the services at the cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
