Reva A. Butts.(Local) - The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA)

NORFOLK -- NORFOLK - Reva Amy Butts, 87, passed away peacefully April 22, 2008, in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. Mrs. Butts was born Jan. 25, 1921, in Berkley Springs, W.Va. She was a retired clerk with the Norfolk Health Department. Mrs. Butts volunteered much of her time with the American Cancer Society and was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Lin D. Murphy of Colorado and Lorna G. Figueroa and husband Richard of North Carolina; a granddaughter, Amy E. Cisneros and husband Miguel; and a great-granddaughter, Makayla A. Cisneros. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Butts.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel, with a funeral to be at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, W.Va. Please share your love and condolences with the family at www.mem.com.
